Dance Nuova Performing Company

Dance Nuova is The Dance Company's community performing group. Members of Dance Nuova are challenged with intensive large- group and small- group choreography, as well as multiple performance opportunities within the community and local competitions. Members are expected to uphold our studio’s mission of creating a welcoming, positive environment that allows all dancers the opportunity to learn and grow.

Membership Eligibility 

NEW Mini Team: Ages 9+
​Junior Team: Ages 11+*
Senior Team: Ages 13+* 
*At least five years of dance experience, including two or more years of experience in Lyrical, Contemporary, or Ballet.

Dance Nuova Expectations
Dancers MUST uphold exceptional attendance in ALL dance classes that they are enrolled in.
Dancers MUST attend all Dance Nuova classes, unless excused by instructors. 
Absences are considered excused when instructors are notified a week prior. Dancers are allowed 3 unexcused absences throughout the season. Per studio policy, any dancer that exceeds 3 unexcused absences is subject to being removed from sections of choreography.
Dancers are expected to enroll in a weekly ballet class OR Leaps, Turns, and Strength (LTS) class.
Dancers are expected to participate in at least 2 fundraiser events that are hosted by the company team.

Expenses

Dance Nuova tuition is a fixed rate of $50.00/month. The company will meet on a weekly basis for a 45 minute group rehearsal. Dancers will have the option of requesting an individual routine (Solo, duet, trio) for an additional cost.
